In this workshop the children will have to write a letter. To do this, the children will have to place the ink or tempera in a container and prepare the utensil for writing (pen, toothpicks...). Later, the children will wet the element chosen to write in the ink repeatedly until they have finished writing a letter or a message, in order to understand how it was possible to write in ink before the invention of pens and the printing press.
Once the letter is finished, the children can put it in an envelope and it will be ready to be sent!
Time: 15 to 20 minutes.
Material required: writing paper, stamp ink or black tempera or Chinese ink, a synthetic pen (replaceable with a toothpick or stick), envelope.
