Proposal for the creation of ink padsfrom potatoesusing the designs created by the children. Each pupil or childwill be given a potato, whichhe or she will have to split it in half and then use to carve out the negative of a drawing with apunch.
When the drawing has been engraved, the potato is dipped in ink or paint and the image is printed on paper or cardboard.
Time: 20 to 25 minutes.
Material required: Potatoes, chisels, knives, burins, cardboard and India ink.
